My person-centered treatment approach begins and ends with compassion. Although therapy will be challenging at times, you will always be safe and listened to without judgment. The therapeutic alliance between therapist and client is sacred. My role is to guide you where you are ready to go and we will share many belly laughs along the way! As you begin to unravel emotional, psychological, spiritual, physical pain and/or trauma, I refer to my “tool bag” of therapeutic modalities (types of therapy techniques). Some of these include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness based skills, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Based, Positive Psychology, Transpersonal, Existential and Psychoanalytic.
